Stuffed Butternut Squash

I have truly enjoyed this site. My Family can attest to the many recipes I have gleaned from the Mennonite girls. Today I am going to try their recipe for Stuffed Butternut Squash.

I Love Squash! Fall is here and I might as well get my fill.

My usual recipe for squash is cut it in half, clean out the seeds (which I love to bake @ 350 degrees in the oven. I bake them for about 15 to 20 minutes stirring the every 5 minutes and of course you taste as you go) Anyhow I place 1 Tbsp. of butter ,Salt/Pepper generously  and 1 round Tbsp. brown sugar in each half. Bake @ 350 for 1 hour.  BTW don’t forget to prick with a fork the inside of each squash several times. Because this will help the butter, salt, pepper and brown sugar bake into the meat of the squash. Talk about Good!
